Five years of complaints from Chinese-language media, forums, and public accounts, deduplicated, scored, and ranked. Every pain links back to a real source.
Seven of the ten highest-scored pains involve suspension, verification, fund holds, or IP takedowns. Sellers rarely complain a tool is missing. They complain that enforcement is opaque, reversible only through a black-box appeal, and financially existential when it lands.
The mass-ban of 50,000+ Chinese accounts still scores highest in 2026. Its fund-freeze aftermath, the appeal black-box, and "no-reason" sweeps of aged accounts remain live. A seller starting today faces nearly the same list, plus new compliance regimes stacked on top.
Each cell counts distinct pains active in that year, shaded by intensity. Persistent pains recur across the years they stayed live, and that recurrence is the point.

Precise view and like counts are hidden from automated access on nearly every Chinese platform, so interaction is weighted low and defaults to a conservative value where hidden. No engagement number was invented. Sources came from Baidu, Toutiao, and Sogou-WeChat. Zhihu and several trade sites blocked automated fetches, so some entries cite the search-result title, publisher, and date rather than a fetched article body. The full scoring breakdown sits at the foot of Key findings.
